There is reason to give thanks to God that Islamic law has recently ended in Sudan and individuals no longer face the death penalty for converting from Islam to Christianity. However, Christians still face intense pressure and persecution from their families and communities. Pray for faith and perseverance for Christians who are tempted to remain quiet or abandon their faith in the face of persecution.
